And the triple: Andreas Barstad(?) (verification would be welcome), Michael Greco (you might remember him from such televised events as Celebrity Love Island), and John Conroy, who lifted hat brim long enough for me to snap him.

Rumours were circulating around that there were at least a couple of no-shows; names not forthcoming as yet but I'll see what I can do.

Good updates Jen & tikay. Seeing as no-one took up my offer to buy me in I will be watching the updates from England, sigh.

Blinds now gone 200-400, 108 players remaining. But remember, they began with 50,000 chips, so blinds are still nice & small.

An EXTRAORDINARY thing just happened.

Marc Goodwin & Dave El Blondie Colclough, just clashed. We all (Marc, Dave, Jen & me) travelled here on the same flight/taxi, da de da de da, & Dave & Marc ended up sitting next to each other.

After some pre-flop action, the flop comes like this.

 Asp

ALL the chips go in - on their backs.

Marc has

Dave has

Turn is

River is........

Dave is OUT. He looked like all the wind had been knocked out of him, but I just sorta sensed that King was gonna River. Dave's luck is awful, & he walked away like he was in a world of pain. He's so out of form it's untrue, but it's a cruel game, & the show goes on.
