Its had such a big influence on other shows and even movies since it started in 2001, I enjoyed Taken..but it was essentially season 1 of 24...his daughter was even called Kim, and they stole whole scenes, ie. when Neeson shoots the blokes wife in the leg...as a shock twist/moment.

Looks like this series is going to set a new record for dodgy foreign accents. Some of them are all over the place.

They were on the telly - 24 starts with two double episodes the first week.

  As you may have seen I am a big fan of 24, and it has been an amazing show since it started in 2001, but this season is looking a dud so far...a total recycle of the other seasons, dull side plotlines, poor characters and even the writing of Renee has been a let down...hopefully it can pick up, feel its time time for the show to go out on a high with a theatrical movie as the producers have discussed before...episode 5 was the worst 24 ever by far...

Nine episodes in and its looking like the weakest season yet...VERY lazy writing with nuclear rods, Muslim bad guys, a new Ctu (ie exactly the same) and the worst ever sub plot by far...the Dana storyline is so bad I am stunned...still my fave show and some of the other seasons were simply amazing, but they need to get the old writers back and do one more great season and finish with a blockbuster movie which looks like that maybe going to happen anyway...

Yeah but dragged down by the Dana storyline....its so bad its bad! and has no place in 24. Its a 100% time filler, I gave it chance to have a connection to the main story but alas zilcho.

not sure if the writing used to be a lot better or i just used to suspend disbelief but this season is a load of very old pony. the plot holes are beyond redic now
