Surinder raises to 24k, and Jeff Duvall calls in the small blind. They proceed:

Flop: three diamonds

Duvall immediately bets out 100k -- enough to cover Surinder, who has maybe 85k behind. We are treated to a few moments of expressionless Sunar dwell-age, before he pushes his chips across the line and we have a showdown for Surinder's tournament life.

Surinder:
Duvall:

Turn:

River:

Thus Surinder doubles up to around 220k, and we continue eight-handed.

There seems to be way more action between the blinds on this final table than usual.  Just now previous blind-posting combatants Pab (sb) and Surinder got involved - Pab raised to 30k pre when it passed to him.  Surinder called.
Flop: two hearts two spades   Pab checked, Surinder checked behind.
Turn:   Now Pab bet 30k, called immediately by Surinder.
River:  Two Clubs  70k is the bet announced by Pab.  It's far from immediate, the call from Surinder, but eventually he does call, leaving himself around 90k behind... and he mucks as soon as he sees the in Pab's hand.

Eirik Svanes raises to 24k, and Yo-Yo-er Of The Day Surinder Sunar pushes all in from the small blind. Stuart Nash in the big blind asks for a count (it's 99k) and dwells up, making "Oooh, I really want to" faces, but passes. Back around to Eirik, and a more sanguine dwelling period from him, but the same result -- he folded, and Surinder took the pot.

Chip counts at the beginning of the new level (approx):

Stuart Nash - 270k
Stu Rutter - 550k
Jeff Duvall - 240k
Eirik Svanes - 570k
Paul Foltyn - 440k
Tony Cascarino - 125k
Surinder Sunar - 70k
Guy Steel - 470k

More Surinder action.

He raises to 28k and this time is met by a reraise to 70k from Stuart Rutter in one of the blinds. A lengthy dwell... and then a curious flat call, leaving himself around 70k behind.

They see a three clubs flop, and Rutter bets out 30k. Surinder, most uncharacteristically, dwells up. Eventually the clock is called, and he's right down to one second when he folds. I'm beginning to think he just likes everyone staring at him.

Blinds are up to 6k/12k/1k now, btw, meaning that Surinder is woefully, woefully short on less than 6 big blinds.

OK it's been a little quiet for a while in the sense that Eirik seems to have woken up and pulled in a few large blind/ante combos in the last 15 mins, while Surinder enters Condition Critical, but just now we got an all in not involving him, somehow...

Eiric Svanes raises to 30k preflop, and immediately his lhs neighbour Tony Cascarino shoves for under 90k.  He calls with no dwelltime, flipping and Cascarino has picked up a hand at the 11.5th hour ("Again, with 6bb..." wryly grins Pab to the rail) - .

Flop:    Cascarino stands up (although if you weren't paying attention you might not realise this was a critical moment - he spends quite a lot of time totally towering over the table while not involved at all which means we can't see much...)

Turn:

River:

Cascarino straightens out, stays in.

Surinder bets a curious 36k, leaving himself, er, 1.5k behind. Stuart Nash flat calls, and so does big blind Eirik Svanes.

Flop:

Three checks.

Turn: three clubs

Eirik attempts to bet 1.5k to put Surinder in and is told that he can't do that. He bets a minimum 12k instead, and all three players call, Surinder all in.

River: three diamonds

Now Eirik bets out a much less cagey 45k and Nash folds pretty swiftly. Surinder turns over a fairly premium for two pair -- but Eirik has got lucky with his and has made a full house, meaning that Surinder Sunar is OUT in 8th place, winning £16,550.

Can't possibly comment, but how it's reported is how it went down. Man.
