Our heads-upsers limp/check their way to the turn of a board.

Ash checks to Rudling, who now bets a very minimal 8k -- but Ash folds anyway, and we are back to still being here instead of on the train home.

Limpy/checky to the flop; David bets and Ash folds. That is all.

Limpy/check-a-rama to the turn:

At which point Ash bets 12k, and David calls.

River:

Ash bets 12k and David calls; Ash shows T-7 and it's good enough to take it down.

Ash raises from the button, only for David to reraise.

As Jon Raab says, "Nope."

David claims A-K.

The two players limp in and it's...

FLOP TIME!

12k from David takes it down with a shockingly revealed pair of Aces!

OMG, SICK NO ACTION!

Limpy-checky-floppy:

So who got the title?

David Rudling raises to 23k from the small blind, and big blind Marc Goodwin reraises, another 45k. Rudling moves all in, Goodwin calls, and it's looking good for Mr Cool...

Goodwin:
Rudling:

Board: Two Clubs

Mr Cool rather loses his cool and slams a fist on the table, and then I think he kicks a chair, albeit quite gently and it doesn't fall over or anything. Nevertheless, Marc Goodwin is OUT in 3rd place, winning £10,000.

Hands reversed right?

Ash raises to 24k. David...shuffles his cards before..wait for it...passing!

Heads up continues with David Rudling still somehow sporting a smile. Good on ya fella!

No they changed the rules for that hand to make sure someone got knocked out.

Good idea imo.

Sorry, my bad. Oops. Goodwin's definitely out, though.

It may look as though nothing much is happening, but in actual fact, David is chip chip chipping away bit by bit with a marginally more aggressive game at the moment as the two players see flop after flop in unraised pots.

Ash may have to re-think his game plan at this rate...

The limp/checked flop:

Check to Ash who bets 12k, and back around to checker Rudling who makes it 30k.

Turn: three diamonds -- check, check.

River:

David checks and then calls 25k from Ash. Ash shows K-6 for two pair, and Rudling shows a six but mucks the other card.
