I've heard they're making the C of C event into 4 days with 2 hour levels, is it true?

Don't give me a gun.

A card just jumped off the table and tried to escape.

Good effort little fella. Damn those quick fingered dealers scuppering your escape to victory.

You mean the COC event? I think we've been here about a week already. What's my name?

David raises, Ash shoves, David folds.

Ash shows A-K and Rudling is now very short with 65-70k.

It should end soon but do we want this grippping contest to draw to a close?

The players see a flop of...

David bets 18k, Ash folds...

David open-shoves again... And this time Ash...

...

...Calls!

Ash: two hearts
David:

Board: Two Clubs

Thus David doubles up. Yay. He says it's 220k but it's actually around 70k. 220k and it would have been almost over. I have an overwhelming urge to hurt myself. Or hurt Junglecat.

Good luck to the short-stack.

Beagle's going to get a slap.

Go Dave!!!!

Floppy's going to get a slap.

Let's all root for whichever player has the most chips winning the next all in! Yay!!!

Can I remind the mean Nottingham-based updaters that even if this does ever finish, we still have to pack up, get a cab to Luton station, get a 40 minute train to West Hampstead and then attempt to find another cab or trudge the 25 minutes uphill to our house?

Omg I hate my life.

The 43rd dealer since the heads up started has just seated himself at the felt.

Why don't they just let Dena deal, she always gets someone knocked out.

Bring back the black widow!!!!!

Can you tell Ash and David to carefully consider each decision and most importantly, take their time! It's not every day you get to be the inaugural COC Winner. I think some careful contemplation with the aim of reducing the tournament to about 5 hands per hour could prove to be a winning strategy.

Ash limps in from the button, and then calls a raise to 45k from David...

...who open-shoves the flop, blind.

Flop: two spades

David:
Ash: call, with

Turn:
River:

Thus Mr David Rudling is OUT in 2nd place winning £14,000, and thus it necessarily follows that Ash Hussain is the Champion!!! of the inaugural Bluesq.Com GUKPT Champion of Champions!!!! event, winning £20,000!!!!! He's like a champion, cubed. Top COC, this.

Hurrah for both heads-upsers, hurrah for shortly heading off to the train station for the homeward trudge; photos to follow shortly.

Finally, we have shots of our worthy winner Ash Hussain.

Here he is shaking hands with heads up opponent David Rudling...

And here he is with his winning hand and the trophy...

Well played Ash!

So that's it!

Thanks for following. It's been a blast and all the monies have been correctly distributed (or will be online once the blue square staff have had a well earned rest.)

Myself and Dana are now off to nap for a 1,000 years so thanks for following us on what has been a long but ultimately satisfying journey to crown the Champion of Champions!

'cos quite literally, we are done!
