Yeah, no doubt next year, they'll make sure it doesn't clash with anything. I think I'm gonna make sure I can play it next time...

Blinds are 4k/8k/1k so there's 20k in the pot preflop now. The average stack of 465k only has 23 and a half rounds to play.

What. A. Crapshoot.

After being the recipient of a timely double up just moments prior the break, the roller coaster that is David Anderson has taken an immediate dip a couple of hands in. Raising it up from the small blind, big blind Bernie Holmes made the call leading to a flop of . Amid a tense atmosphere, Anderson then bet 34,000, followed by 55,000 on the turn before firing one final bullet of 150,000 on the river.

As Anderson remained statuesque, his arms seemingly glued to the felt either side of him, Holmes began to count out the call, although not with too much urgency. Nevertheless, he took a deep breath and announced call. As the other players looked on with curiosity, Anderson flipped over , but it wasn't enough as Holmes tabled for two pair and the pot.

As a result, Anderson has dropped back down to approximately 120,000.

A rare limped pot between Luke Marsh and Cristiano Blanco in the blinds.

Check from Marsh, Blanco bets 10k. Marsh makes it 22k. Call from Blanco.

Check check.

And with that card, Blanco definitely isn't going anywhere. Both players check and Marsh mucks as Blanco shows .

It's difficult to confirm because his purple 5,000 chips are stacked in unorthodox columns, but it would appear as though Bernie Holmes has around 750,000, thus making him your current chip leader.

they have took 9k off the top? when did dtd change its no deal apart from chip count rule? Happy they have changed this now as I really thought it was rigid and it shows they listen to their customers.

Cristiano Blanco just added more to his stack. Three small stacks of purple 5k chips as a bet of 75k on the river of a board was enough to get Trevor Reardon to fold his hand.

Everyone left in looks to be very deep now, apart from David Anderson who is on the brink with about 120k and will have to make another move soon.

Here's an interview that Snoopy Parkinson did with him during the break.

David Anderson is out and becomes the 8th place finisher winning £10,000

Well, it would appear as though my video interview of David Anderson bokked the poor fellow, because moments after posting, we did indeed witness him depart in a disappointing eighth place.

It was a preflop raising war that was his downfall, Ints Grinbaums on the button making the final call with to Anderson's in the big blind. As the cards were revealed, you could almost see the pain plastered across the face of Anderson.

Although the three diamonds flop provided no help, the turn at least produced four more outs to the straight, but no knaves or dames emerged on the Two Diamonds river and Anderson was gone.

They changed it a few months back.
