Pretty tense at the moment. A lot of tired faces, and hands are taking quite a while to complete with players thinking through each and every step they make. The last hand between Luke Marsh and Cristiano Blanco was a prime example, as Marsh raised from late position and Blanco called from the blinds. On the
flop, Blanco check-raised Marsh's continuation bet of 50,000 to 150,000.
At this point, your blogging team were kept waiting for a good few minutes as Blanco tried to manipulate his opponent into doing what he wanted him to do. Uncharacteristically, he started talking to him, even at one point saying, "You know I'll call if you move all in." Marsh, meanwhile, simply stared at the board, barely moving an inch and completely ignoring anything his opponent said.
After a while, he meekly announced all-in, putting the pressure back on his Italian foe. Blanco was not happy, he shook his head numerous times, sighed and started to check his stack to see if he could feasibly make a call. Again, we had to wait a while before a decision was made, which in the end was a fold. Marsh took down another tasty pot, and is showing no signs of relinquishing his grip on this final table.
