I have a wedding tomorrow, all my suits are still out of the country so I treated myself to a new one today but forgot to get a tie. do I need one?
I've not been to a wedding in the UK for years so not too sure on proper etiquette

What? WHAT?
One would rather die than attend a wedding tie-less. Good God man, what were you thinking?
Kids, pff.

get a bow tie, then you can undo it and wear it hanging down when you're drunk like the rich handsome blokes in the films do.

ye man, wear a tie. I just saw some wedding pics where they look like they were all off for a jolly down the pub.
I went to an impromptu bash once but couldn't face going tieless, but had no tie, so fashioned something out of paperclips and shoelaces to make me look like an oil baron. Looked good too! Anything but tieless.
