Is it OK for me to call and then fold unless I find a flop of (edit - I'm struggling to imagine a flop I'd have really liked other than 22x so maybe I know the answer to this)
this bit I don't get. are you saying you're going to pass unless you flop quads? this obv is a terrible plan
nothing wrong with setmining here. if your read on the player is correct then risking 5% of your stack to hit a 2 is great as with that range he's likely to pay you off when you hit. even better if the bb comes along too and he should be with quite a large range
I was doubting myself for a moment and also allowing the thought that a flop with a 2 and a card that fell within UTGs raising range could see me facing a bigger set.
TBH I was happy enough with my actions and the flop of Q47 rainbow allowed me to check/fold
I'm more interested in the range of hands that BB can call with 67/89
anything? at this stage is it reasonable to call with ATC? Being last to act and knowing the final price to see the flop.
