I got one Wasn't sure if I quite made it. When I went to pay my bank made me fill out some secure transaction form where I had to pick a password. I never use my debit card online so was the first time I encountered this and it cost me valuable seconds. Have you checked to make sure they use Roberts Rules at APAT? lol. it's gonna be so worth going just to see the arguments. cf, have you played at a grosvenor before? you ain't gonna like their rules

Are there automatic refunds if it took the money but you were too late for a seat?

I don't think it actually processes the transaction until it's been confirmed. So if you haven't got a seat there shouldn't be any money taken is my understanding of it.

No money will have actually been taken if you were unfortunate not to get a seat. It is a pre-authorisation process which effectively allocates the funds without taking them. It should clear in the next day. Leigh

So apart from posting and hoping for a seat on the exchange board? Is there any other chances to get a seat?

Turn up at 12pm at walsall casino and be first on the alternates list that Des creates. 2-3 can get in from that...

Check the grosvenor website for games for fri/sat night. IIRC last year the normal sat night tourney at Walsall was cancelled for APAT. There were cash games however...
