as its a poker room and not a casino they have to make money for expenses somehow so you have to suck up the  fees

of course if it was a 200 game and they wanted 50 in fees i would object

you guys at the grovenors need to vote with you feet

the G in aberdeen had lowered its fees back to 10% as its rival never charges more than 10%

well 20 + 5.50 for a casino is too much

unless they go out of there way for poker players like playing untill comp is finished rather than finishing an hour before the casino
so the players can donk the money off on roulette.

but casinos use poker to get footfall so will never pay more than 10% for a casino comp

People have to stop thinking of juice in terms of % of buy-in for low-buy in comps.

I think a €5 reg fee is perfectly reasonable for any dealer dealt comp

^^Agreed...

Well, I went.  I played.  9 started (including 3 staff to help make up the table) and top 2 got paid.  I bubbled.

Too worn out right now to explain the set up, but will likely go back.  Follow up post tomorrow.
