its about time i post on this thread i guess. Nicky/Cod Meharly has been begging me to do so.

When i got back from my Skiing holiday on saturday i had no idea this thread even existed and when i viewed the first page i wasnt happy. Everyone else had cool/ballin pics and mine was just a huge picture of my face!!! So i made Nicky change it.

I made the controversial decision to not take my laptop with me to France skiing, i thought id have a week off the poker/tennis/football/racing. I thought it was a good decision at first, but then after 5 days i was itching that i was missing everything and was getting a bit bored. This is because there wasnt that much nightlife were i was, i was just skiing for like 8 hours a day then chilling with family and friends in hotel bar etc. On the 5th day we went to an ice hockey match tho, Morzine Avoiraz, which was our resort, were playing a side called Megeve. I wondered if anyone would place a bet with me because i was starting to experience serious withdrawal symptoms from gambling and my Dad said he'd take the home side. I only had 170 euros left for the trip, but i wanted to get involved so decided on 100 euroes on Megeve. My main reason for liking the chances of Megeve were that the number 5 looked like the jockey Choc Thornton. With a minute to go in the third 20 minute quarter Megeve were 8-7 down, and i was screaming them forward to try and put it in my Dad's eye and then suddenly my team put their GK up front. i Was like wtf, and unsuprisingly Morzine scored to make it 9-7. Then it hit me, obv there is only 3 periods, not 4 quarters like we all thought. sighhhh. GG hopes and dreams and therefore my hundo.

It was a good holiday overall tho and when i got home i was feeling fresh and ready to grind, so did so on Sunday night and tonight. On these 2 nights i have spent nearly $4,000 on buy ins over 35 tournaments and i have managed to cut my make up from $2,416 to $2,379. Ship the $37 imo.
Didnt do very well on Sunday, and then tonight was annoying. Got a 2nd, 9th, 12th, 12th, 19th and 27th from 16 tournaments played, thereby making just $631 in total. Its so frustrating when its like that, deep in so many but then you win FA, especially seeing as tho the 2nd was in my smallest tourn of the night, the $109 5k on Blonde.

I dont think my make ups in too bad shape tho atm, all it takes atm is one $6k+ bink and im out and have just short of $2k sent to my bank account, weeee.

Heres to a profitable week for the whole stable, and to a good holiday for 3 of the Shrewdies whom are jetting off to Tenerife in 3 hours: LeKnave, Middy and Tommy!!!

Also, why the fk are we called the shrewdies?

Thought I best post something as the rest of the group have their life stories up here.

First of all +1 on BHs comment "why the fuck are we called the shrewdies!?" most ironic thing ever IMO may I suggest a more accurate description such as THE FATTIES.

Also nh rich in the 50w1 losing to the guy I beat in Ireland HU (oldjude or whoever) Ill sure ever let you forget that m8 [   ]

Just woke up n getting ready for our winter sun break, to be honest I’m not looking forward to a week away from the grind/ coming back to stories of everyones conquests.

Seriously though best of luck to everyone while were away I hope you all win the world this week.

awesome stuff chiprich.  The poker world is littered with people racking up makeup and then simply ditching their backers so they can "start afresh" and get a better deal elsewhere.. its a real credit to you that you've buried urself in so much makeup and still battle on to get yourself out of it. Theres a fair few people much much better than you that have royally fked their stakers so that they can start anew, you should be uber proud that you have weathered the storm and have battled through it to make back what you have.

is this a level? he was only in $15k MU tops, which can be as little as a week of running bad. I dont think any of the stable would quit on flushy. While  there are better players than rich, there aren't much much better players around every corner. Id imagine that rich's average BI's are about $1200 a day so i dont think that is quite burying himself in make up.
Although i coined his "Tranny Rich" nickname in brighton. Lot of varience in this game yo.

ty.....i think?
Didn't no whether to take this as a good thing or a rubdown? Yeh i was into MU pretty deep, but Flushy wudn't stake me/us if he didnt think we were good enough etc. Just wonderd..
A) how do you know how good i am and why theres much much much better players than me?
B) when have u seen me play?

Edit: sorry i can see your trying to be nice, just felt like i was getting a rubdown too.

On other news, finished 6th in $25r 6 max on ipoker tonight for $600ish and just took down the $109 5k on there too for 2.2k.
So an ok today + $1500ish on the day and makeup is now only $2k! Sick, 1 time let me get out plz.

gl rest of stable playing! gogogo
