Not sure if you already know but can get summit called an ESTA which only takes 3 days and can stay in vegas upto 3 months,just don't admit that your coming into the country for espionage reasons or to be a drug dealer,they sure aren't the questions they ask

Hi i went to mississippi last month and filled in online then, i think it is valid for one year.

BTW, on the flight we all had the online thingy but the hostesses made us  fill the normal paperwork and said the online stuff was not of use... YET.

Aalso at the immigration desk they wanted the filledin on the aeroplne paperwork too??

When did all this kick in then? Last time i went you just filled a visa waiver form in on the plane.

I believe they last 3 years, I didn't print it off you just get a number which you can check your status online. The whole thing is linked to your passport (which has to be a certain type preferably not too old) and they can tell from that whether you have registered online for the visa waiver. It is not a visa as such just a waiver cos we are from the UK we don't need an official paid for visa.

Fwiw on the flight (flew to NYC on 21st April) they gave us forms to fill out and this was still compulsary as the system wasn't fully in place, but they were on the verge of phasing this out. So by the time you fly they may not be handing out forms.

No charge fwiw.

Have you got an actual visa Mond?

You don't need one for a less than 3 months tourist trip, hence the name visa waiver. You really shouldn't have paid for anything.
