Watched last weeks UK border patrol.
Immigration do a street search near Strattford and bag 7 illegals. They were released temporarily after interview down the nick/immigration place and 6 of them absconded.
Does a collar and tie with a few cups of coffee really make the decision makers in this country stupid.
Who in their right mind would think that someone in severe trouble would wait idly by to be severely punished.
I need someone to convince me to stop shaking my head so i can get some sleep tonight !!!!

did all 7 do a runner? "severely" lol, you for real? not that it could be construed as serious punishment anyway but you think that compared to all the things theyve seen and been through anything we could do to them could be considered as severe? what do you suppose should happen, put them in prison and let them take up space because they are here illegally so that a pedophile gets a probation order cos all the cells are jammed up with people fleeing their ow countys or do you just think prison camps ftw? Who in their right mind would think that someone in severe trouble would wait idly by to be severely punished.
what a bastard a? due process and human rights always get in the way of nicking some "illegals". you call them "illegals" they couldnt produce papers immediately but were they convicted when they were arrested?

Well given some had admitted to being here illegally i think it's fair to use that term.
I'm not debating whether or not we should help people just pointing out that it's possible to say yeah i'm guilty then some clown says ok we'll deport you but you can have an extra few days until then and we won't keep an eye on you.

ffs get a grip
they were born outside of the uk, what bastards
we lock up suspected/admitted murderers, rapists, burglars etc as they're a danger to the public if they re-offend
these guys aren't going to re-offend though are they as to do that they'd have to a) leave the country and b) be born again, neither of which are likely if they're just allowed to wander off

The reason we have a good standard of life in the UK is party due to a workforce of illegal workers who keep costs from company's down, without them products would be a lot more expensive and we wouldn't live such good lives.

a fairly large number of poles now in the uk were here working before that date. you presumably would've wanted them all locked up and then suddenly on may 1st were happy for them not to be. do you have any polish friends in the uk? if so are they aware that 4 1/2 years ago you wanted them locked up because of their nationality?

I obviously misread the bit where you drew a link between them not being locked up and the decision makers being stupid.
I assume that what you actually meant by that is that it was a great decision to release them and that's the reason you couldn't stop shaking your head
