Did I set this up, or is it just a bad opponent?

Interesting heads up SNG. I play the first hand so bad he must clock me as a right sucker, obviously thinks I just bet/raise draws, then give up. The right cards then start falling and he is too aggressive back and gets stung. Just wondering if you think the first hand got him making these decisions, or I'm just lucky to be up against a bad player? guy kept hanging out in table after this game and I was tempted to carry on playing against him but I don't know what I could do different next time, should I have just hammered on? I played generally passive and let him push me around only so much. See what you think....

Hand one is comedy, giving up this many chips to create an image(was this the plan?) is hugely -ev, fold the flop. Hand two with the AA, raise much more pre, checking the flop is OK if the pot was around 400 as it should be. Hand three, bet the flop and the turn. Hand four is OK when the villain is this bad, most of the time just bet biggish on the end and expect to get called by second/third pair type hands.
There's no real evidence you have influenced his play, he just plays really bad.

biggest mistake here is not playing villain again and again and again. you haven't played this too well but he is truly awful.
hand 3 please bet the flop. you have top pair on a draw heavy board and are probably good at this point but choose not to put any money in the pot until one of the draws gets there

Yeah I wasn't happy with hand 3....heres another where I could have scored a bit more....what would be the approach here? This one was right before the aces so i guess when I shipped on that hand he thought it was tilt...

Hand 1, either raise or fold the flop. No need to mess around with calls like this with the blinds at 7/15.
Hand 2, raise more preflop, most ppl call in position, something like 120-150. I bet the flop, otherwise your c-bets when you have nothing will get no respect in the long run. I really dislike your overbet on the turn. I guess it worked this time, but just cos you're playing a donkey doesn't mean you should mirror his kind of play...
Hand 3, you must, must bet the flop. For similar reasons as above.
Hand 4, you played well. Though I probably lead the river incase he checks a weak hand behind. But if he was prone to shoves like this, the check is worth the risk.
Xtra hand...Based on this guys play you should probably check the river incase he bluff bets a 5 which got counterfeited. Your general line is fine here though...

This is where I wonder if what he saw in hand one comes into play...betting at the flush draw then weak passive when I miss it...he shoved last time, but there was a lot more in the pot to justify the bet size...I don't get his shove at all this time....but very welcome!

How does he know what you had in hand 1?
