Andy Miles has doubled through, sadly, for Martino Libertini, in rather fortunate circumstances. All in with , , Miles missed a flop, but hit the turn head-on to go ahem... miles ahead. No nine on the river, and Libertino was back down to 20,000.

We've also lost Rupinder Bedi. Short-stacked, he pushed with 4-3, but the chap to his left, who had just that moment sat down, found A-K and swiftly made the call. Bedi failed to improve.

Fellow Leicestertonian Neil Blatchley is fairing similarly poorly, although he did get his chip in with the goods. Catching Andy Louca on the pinchy pinchy, Blatchley made with the call with , but couldn't survive a board against the local's . Louca only doubled through to 15,000, but, still, with 30,000 left, it was a hit Blatchley could ill afford.

Prior to his demise, Alan Vinson managed to double up Alan Stearn, the latter getting it all in with versus . "Oh dear," sighed Stearn as we called, but he needn't worried, as the board came a decisive to award him the pot. That was several minutes ago; he currently has 57,000.

This is the relieved (although it's difficult to tell) face of Darren Hickman. He just doubled up courtesy of start of day chip leader Dinh Doat Le with versus on an ensuing two spades board.
