And just as quickly as he wins them, he see them go sailing away. With Stephen Chadwick raising to 20,000 under-the-gun, the action folded round to Stephen Holden who put a chip on his cards, paused, and reraised the original raiser all in. Without too much hesitation, Chadwick called.

Chadwick =
Holden =

Board = Two Diamonds three clubs

Holden closes regains the chip lead.

Out in 17th is Nicky Romanello, the short-stacked Welshman pushing all in with A-7 suited, but being looked up by the pocket jacks of Alan Trueick. Improvement, but not enough, on a rainbow T-T-7-6-5 board.

Sunny Chattha has doubled up off chip leader Stephen Holden. On a , he check-raised Holden's 60,000 bet all in for just another 60,000 more. Holden didn't like it, and after a pause, made the reluctant call.

Holden =
Chattha =

Chattha really wanted this, you could just tell. He rose from his seat, all tense, and held his breath as the turn hit the felt. On the river, he clenched both fists and one-inch-punched the air in silence before retaking his seat.

"Go on, my son," shouted Karl Mahrenholz from the rail, although I can confirm that they are not related in any form.

At the same time, John Eames departed from the other table. Unfortunately, I didn't see the hand. Argh, the downside of going solo. The upside? Not listening to Floppy's snoring.

The players are showing no signs of fatigue or mardy-mustardness.

Dan Carter is out in 15th. He pushed from the button with 9-6, but Mickey Wernick picked up queens in the big blind and made the easy call. 7-3-8 flop was about as good at gets, and, in fact, got, the three turn and four river stubbornly refusing to supply Carter with the straight.

On Table 1, Osman Mustanglu raised to 18,000 in the cut-off, only for Dinh Doat Le to push all in for around 135,000 from the button. The action ground to a halt on Joe Grech in the big blind who dwelt for what felt like an age (I'm sure I was clean shaven this morning). "I want you, and him, to call. I wanna treble up," said Le confidently. "You have tens? Jacks? Call me." Grech constructed the correct amount and slid it towards the line, but put on the brakes at the last second. "It's getting closer," observed Grech. "Call me," repeated Le. In the end, both Grech and Mustanogl folded, the latter showing an ace in the hole.
