Good news Kevin Smith fans.

No, not a sequel to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, but an impressive leap from 6k at the last count to 26k now. He tripled up with pocket tens against A-K and A-Q, and then managed to make himself the nut flush a few hands later against something that was clearly not as good as the nut flush.

Chasing Amy was better.

Matt Perrins made the final of the GUKPT in Brighton mainly by 3betting everyone else in the field to death, I think prior to the final I only saw him open raise once, and he had aces, but his constant 3betting everyone allowed him to quickly amass a big stack. Here, he's doing a similar thing. The cut-off raises to 650, he makes it 2,100 from the big blind eliciting a fold from his opponent who shows, albeit somewhat pointlessly, an ace.

He does race like a god.  Infact he is so good at racing now as a challenge he takes on 2 people at once

Barry Neville, despite being up one ipod charger for the evening so far, is down to just 4k in the tournament.

He standard raised from the button only for the rather short-stacked big blind to push. Neville called with a sigh, and the sigh turned out to be apposite as his pocket sixes were well behind his opponent's pocke sevens. No miracle sixes or such anywhere on the board, and just 4k is what he's left with. And, of course, Floppy's ipod charger.

Daniel Ward: 8k and silently contemplating this
James Atkin: 8.5k and apparently not bothered in the slightest; all you can hear at his table is incessant Atkin chatter.
Mark Spearman: OUT, when his Q-T came a cropper against Mateyboy's pocket threes on a 3-Q-J-Q-9 board.

10 Minute Break

Smoke 'em if you got 'em. Or chew some cigarette flavoured gum if you're half-assedly trying to quit, like me.
