Darren Shallis is back up to 140k.

"It wasn't pretty..."

"He fookin' made a fookin' donkey move!" said the familiar voice of Barry Neville. "Ah raise it up wit' Ace-Queen int' small blind and he moved in wit' King Ten and 'it. Ah got 'bout 70k left now."

Lovely! Nice one Darren.

Oh Iwan...why are you such a bok? ...and not just a bok, a...

Literally at the same time Barry Neville pushes over the top of Rab Bain's late position raise with A-J and eventually gets called by 6-6. Ace on the flop immediately followed by a 6. Bazza down and out.

Then as that's happening, Rana Gurnam raises to 14.1k UTG, and gets called by Paul Newman in UTG+1. Gurpreet Nagi moves all-in from the blinds and Gurnam pushes behind with Newman quickly folding...

Nagi:
Gurnham:

.....

Nagi has Gurnam just covered and the latter is out.

Our two Last Ladies Standing are, er, seated next to each other, most improbably.

Tania Narine (on the right): just 45k, yikes

Kate Langshaw (on the left): was going to say a mere 38k, but she has just now doubled up to 80k or so shoving with and getting herself called by Jesper Persson holding .

Board: no surprises

Persson: barely a dent in his monstrous stack

Mr Darren Shallis is up to 210k after knocking out somebody I suspect may have been Nicky Mclellan with Q-Q versus J-Q.

Hurrah, Shallis fans! Woe, Mclellan fans. Some kind of emotional quandary for those who like both players.

SKULLMAN has been reduced to mere bones; in fact, he's busted out completely, getting his involved with Paul Newman's .

"There's queens coming," said a hopeful SKULLMAN, but he was entirely wrong, as the board came down Two Diamonds and off he went, while his chips became Newman's Own.

Newman may have broken a nail in his haste to call SKULLMAN's all in:

Nick Hicks raises to 22k from early position, Steve Jelinek makes it 80k from the big blind. Nick quickly announces all-in for about 130k more on top, Steve calls. Biggest pot of the tournament.

Jelinek:
Hicks:

Steve's total count is 212,700 which is slightly more than Nick has and the EPT Grand finalist picks up a pot worth over 400k. Hicks is out and no doubt a little gutted about losing a flip which would be for a final table stack.

I think the photo sums it up.
