The Channel Islands are stretching the definition 'off the coast of the UK' - they're beside France.

Ambiguous question imo with regards to the 'off the coast'.

sark and jersey are off the coast of france as are all the  channel islands

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey

rockall is closest to ireland and certainly not to be considered off the coast of the uk

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockall#Nearest_mainland

similar objections to several others as well if I could be bothered to gather evidence

i would have allowed the Falkland island to avoid any "conflict"

If you'd have allowed the Falklands, why have you failed the Scilly Isles?

He's allowed island names - not colony names. Falklands would fail - names of individual islands in the Falklands would pass imo.

Objection

Holy Island is another name for Lindesfarne.

Not a different Island and so not deserving of an ace
