I also have  not bet on snooker for a few years, but on Friday night I spotted a bet on Sporting Index that I fancied. It is called the Two Ronnies market and was quoted at 170-190. The scoring works as follows:

Good Ronnie

+100 pts for winning title
+50 pts for being runner up
+25 pts for losing in the semis

+ his highest break in the tournament
+50 pts bonus for a 147
+10 pts per century
+25 for winning the opening frame of every match he plays

Bad Ronnie

-100 pts for losing in 1st round
-50 pts for losing in 2nd round
-25 pts for losing in the quarters

-2 x the total foul pts from his first round match

-25 pts for losing the opening frame of every match he plays.

I bought at 190.

He won the opening frame, in the second frame he made a 140 break and in total he made 3 centuries in his first round match. he gave away 14 points in fouls. So, after 1 match it is at 167 so far. The market is now quoted at 290-310.

Your too shrewd, I'll inform the Snooker trader lol.

lol, I'm your ideal punter. Its all coming back to you with interest I suspect. Having said that,I cleaned up on the dogs today as well. Smiley

Bananas is too crazy even for me. I prefer the less volatile, but still quite so Barking Mad index - winner's trap number x runner up's trap number, aggregated accross the card. Bananas multiplies it again by the 3rd placed dog.

The volcano supremacy market in snooker is probably the only more volatile market going.

basically its the most volatile bet in the business.

So for example in dogs (We do a version in all sports now), it a prediction on the finishing positions in a race so it can makeup a minimum of 1x2x3 = 6 and a maximum or 4x5x6 = 120. We would offer a spread across all the meetings, say 300-350 (say 8 races) and you can buy or sell it, it could makeup between 46 and 960.

Ebdon in trouble.

Bond is a solid player, v few mistakes. Not enough power to go all the way but a tricky draw

lol he has made 2 on average per frame, just Ebdon not capitalised and played awfully.  Ebdon should be 5:2 up not 5:2 down
