Dominic Rossookh is down to the virtual felt after getting the worst of it in a blind on blind battle with Keir Ratcliff.

Ratcliff bet 4k and Rossookh check/raised to 13k. Call.

Rossookh bets 16.5k and then mutters, "Sick," when Ratcliff moves in for an additional 17.3k but makes the call for most of his stack.

Rossookh:
Ratcliff --

The river helps neither play and Rossookh has about 5k left. Ratcliff on almost 100k.

Des Jonas has doubled through Andy Middleton with versus . The board coming . Middleton went out soon after.

Chip leader at the break Karim Jomeen.

Chi Nguyen has knocked out Fakshad Ferdowsian to consolidate his strong position

Meanwhile I arrive at a hand between Richard Sudworth and Ryan Fronda

on a  board big blind Fronda has just check raised all-in over Sudworth's flop bet.

It's a big pot, 30,000 in the middle and the re-raise is 29,300 more for Sudworth to call from his 50,000 stack

Eventually he calls tabling  and Fronda flips

turn and river

Fronda up to nearly 100,000 and Sudworth struggling

Pete Haslam raises to 5,500 on the button and gets called by blinds Edward Lundon and Jeff Kimber who both fold to a 10,500 bet on the flop.

Andrew Booth has doubled through Costas Kkola with Jacks versus Kings. The binkage in question even more surpreme than usual because a third player confessed to folding K-J after the hand.

George McDonald bets 26.5k on the turn of a board against Ryan Fronda which reprents maybe half of the latter's stack. He can't stand the heat and folds. Wellchief is erm...well over the 100k mark.

Joey Lovelady has bust Paul Ephremsen, all I saw was the chips being scooped up at the end and Paul striding off purposely towards the car park

Joey Lovelady has just knocked out Tim Flanders. I arrived a touch too late again but only to hear the refrain from Tim "I don't know why I pushed all in". Joey is amongst the chip leaders now

Joey Lovelady is now the new chip leader with over 200k and starting to run over his table. Karim Jomeen has dropped a lot of chips to Paul Gardener, the latest being on a board where Gardener bet 15k and got paid off by Jomeen who mucked when the former Blackpool runner-up showed him . Gardener probably has about 175k now and Jomeen is down to about 80k.

The dinner break will be at the end of this level, an hour early, but we're not complaining. 43 players remain.

Steve Holden and George McDonald have been scrapping

on a  two hearts  flop George bets 6,000 into a 15,000 pot and is check called by Steve

turn  check check

river  check, George bets 8,000 and Steve calls, mucking when shown

Steve struggling with 40,000 while George continues to look comfortable
