Probably sound like sour grapes, but that performance by Webb needs scrutinising ... it was quite simply the worst display of refereeing I have ever witnessed in the top flight of English football.

absolutely fucking scandalous.

I agree, Palacios should have been sent off early.

I think you should write to the FA and demand to have the game replayed.

To be honest Ralph, the game was meaningless as far as Spurs are concerned, however if the Goons were challenging Utd for the title, I am sure you would have been as incensed at that display of refereeing as much as every Spurs fan and Liverpool fan in the country.


Scholes should have been sent of 2 mins after coming on ... made 3 clear bookable challenges, but only collected his booking after the 3rd foul in 2 mins.

too many appalling wrong decisions.

firstly they are professionals and secondly we are trying to get 7th for a Europa league place.;-)

sigh at all the ABUs who see conspiracy in every refereeing decision except the ones that go against us like last week's penalty that wasn't given ...

Like '99 we keep giving our opponents hope and then coming back. With or without the penalty we were never losing that match.

I totally disagree.  You were 0-2 down and going nowhere.  Referee made a season defining decision, and he got it completely wrong.

Just saw this for the first time and I'm a complete neutral, I have no love for either team. The keeper makes no contact with the ball and the player gets a touch then goes down. Quite often this results in a penalty regardless of who is involved. Suggestions of cheating by the referee here are ridiculous.
