they may or may not have explained it better than I remember and I may have misunderstood some of it

polar bears were kept in cages on the 2nd island by the dharma initiative where they watched them to see whether they could get fish biscuits and water without getting electrocuted

presumably they escaped at some point and swam/nicked boats and rowed to the main island

so fucking sick, the one thing I didn't want to happen has happened i.e. the bomb going off being the ending of the season. now we have abs no clue about anything, even less than before. love it.

jacob is one weird character, still a lot more to find out about him

presumably the bloke at the start of the episode somehow became locke so he could persuade ben to kill jacob

charlie must be hobbit charlie otherwise charles widmore would be his own grandfather

pretty sure there's more from claire. we haven't seen her die and one of desmond's visions was of her getting on a helicopter which we've yet to see

I just watched the last double episode, I have to watch it in silence, as any laughing or pointing out stoooooopid things means i get a punch from Jane and no tea for a week.

But FFS ... the opening of this epi gives you the first ever sighting of Jacob, and some geezer saying he wants to kill him, but obv cant as he needs a loophole... meaning Jacob is some sort of immortal, kind of like Highlander LOL

Anyway, he gets his loophole, via Lockes body and Bens pent up frustration ... and kills him (or does he), just before he gets burnt in a grease fire, Jacob says "they're coming" ... yes Jacob, its the fucking men in white coats, they are coming to take the viewers off to the loony bin where this programme has sent them !!


Now you have to wait 6 months or so for your next fix ... FYL's

Not Locke but takes Locke's form, I reckon thats one of his powers.. can be seen as dead bodies on the island to influence people, Christian, Ben's Mum, lots of others im sure.. the whole rule thing reminds be a bit of the Constantine story line of God / Devil having a wager to see who could take more souls.. it never dawned on me that Charlie the kid could be 'the' Charlie, but yes it figures.  Claire will be back in season 6, she had some 'personal' issues so they had to write her out of season 5 so to speak but she's back next time.

Who was the other guy at the start with Jacob?  Did I miss his name?
