As always teams of 5 required, knockout format.
£100 per team so £20 each to be collected by the captain and paid at registration, likely to be before the Quiz on the Sunday.
There will be a draw, possibly during the Quiz. This will show which team plays which. The captain will have already numbered his team mates so we can see who plays who. However if the captains agree on a different match up, fine, as long as it doesn't hold up the running of the comp, it really can be a nightmare to run. Also if two players are available to play then they will crack on rather than wait for missing players. Who plays who is ultimately down to ironside and myself who will simply looking to make things run smoothly. For the avoidance of doubt, this comp takes precedence over any SnG or any other comp that the players decide to reg for.
There will be a confirmed team thread, could captains please PM myself or ironside once you have five, confirmed, members.

Just want to highlight the emboldened sentence above...
We all want to have a great time, we all want to fit in as much to this weekend as possible, so please remember that if you are playing cash/SnG's/another comp you might hold up the Heads Up comp.
In the past we have had players not wanting to miss their HU match, but refusing to leave their comp/cash game to play... this led to massive back logs and a few severely miffed mods (and of course some players), hanging around, waiting to get on with running the HU comp.
So, like Robert has stated, if you want to play the HU comp please remember that it takes precedence over whatever else you want to play... that way we can ALL have a good time

Introducing to you:
The A Team:
Brent "Horneris" Horner -
CAPT
Tom "Hitthehole" Middleton
Tommy "Deucebabydeuce" Cunningham
Ben "RookieITB" Turnstill
Richard "ChipRich" Hare
All these players have enjoyed an immense amount of Heads Up success in the past, and are very much the cream of the crop from the Shrewdies pool in this arena. All are hugely feared live players (except me, but iv played thousands of HU sit n gos online and i have a 6/7 Blonde Bash HU record, yo).
