Newcastle v Middlesborough

Tension likely to be high. Both teams desperately need the result, if either loses they are in effect down. Middlesborough's away record is horrific but recently Newcastle's strikers can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo, and Middlesborough's strength, such as it is, is the back four. they are bottom three through no goals, rather than shipping loads
I have a strong fancy for a low scoring draw. Intending to back draw outright 9/4, no goalscorer 8/1 and a small saver on 1-0 Newcastle 11/2.
talk me out of it, or agree with me...over to you

Newcastle have not won in 10 Premier League games, the last five of which have been under Alan Shearer. They stand immediately below the safety line, leading their North-East rivals only on goal difference.
Middlesbrough travel to St James' in danger of setting an unwanted club record of 11 successive away league defeats.
The last four Premier League matches between Newcastle and Middlesbrough have been draws, as have the last four top-flight meetings at St James' Park.

I wont be watching what is potentially the biggest match of the premiership season so far as it is on Setanta!!!
Will have to make do with the play-off match instead.
I cant see it being a classic - too much pressure on both sides and 1 goal is likely to be enough.
Personally i hope Middlesboro win for a couple of reasons.
firstly i would like to see Palace play Newcastle next season, secondly, i like Gareth Southgate (went out with his sister a long time ago and he is a nice bloke) and i would like to see him have a succesful management career.

Unless we are 3 nil up and playing against ten men after 20 minutes I can't see me enjoying any of this. Boro have only conceded 5 less than us this term, so they are still leaky at the back. They always seem to up their game against us and the top four in order to overcome the self inflicted inferiority complex they have here. I am currently sat on the river tees. I hope it is a few cm higher full of tears come 10pm.
I have absolutely no expectations or hope. I know that hull will beat man u on the last day with the championship already sealed.

Hull wont get another point, you need 3 points and you are safe.

Amazing collapse by Hull - reminiscent of when Norwich went down in the mid-90s.

I feel a bit sorry for Hull, momentum is very difficult to turn around after a bad run, Tony Pulis also needs a lot more love than he's been given for what he's done with Stoke...

It's a draw for me.
Tempted by a 0-0 at 8 to 1.

You mean 'No goalscorer' at 8/1, surely?

There's £10k available @ 9/1 if you want to bet 0-0 in the correct score market on BF.
I've had a dabble on 1-1 and 2-1 @ 7/1 and 10/1 respectively.
