It wasn't by a couple of hundred quid it was something like 25k, obv they are going to bar him until he pays it back.

added a 0 i believe to a deposit slip. £2800 became £28000 although i may be completely wrong.

added a 0 i believe to a deposit slip. £2800 became £28000 although i may be completely wrong. it was possibly 2100 to 21000 = £18,900 thats just a guess

So getting back to the question of value  .... if someone paid u £20k never to step foot in a Grosvenor again, as a UK professional poker player...would you accept? I guess it depends how confident one is........

Reminds me of when one of my cashiers years ago was paying out £20k in £50 notes to a customer. Mistake was that she thought there was £2500 in a packet when it was actually £5000. I rang the customer and he politely assured me that he had only been paid the £20k. Had to take it as that and wrote the lot off.

Id pay £20k to never talk to the plebs that frequent the UK poker scene LET ALONE ACCEPT A £20k PAYMENT. Live tournys have cost me 300k+, BEST BONUS EVER IF I GOT IT
