Des Jonas pushes again

Alun Hughes pushes his shortish stack in on the button to isolate

but Skalie wakes up with  in the big blind and calls both

Des

alun  three diamonds

board

and Skalie takes out both players.

He now has even healthier chips

Penly has just shy of 100k

Atkin is about 130k

Ave is 86k so both are bang in contention.

Dave Penly has recovered nicely, knocking out Gregory Wood

on a 10 high flop Wood bets 11,000 in the cut off and Penly raises n the button enough to cover Wood's remaining 30,000 stack

Wood knows he is behind with A10, but doesn't think he can pass for what is in the pot and what he would have left

He makes a crying call and Penly has two black jacks which hold to take him over 100,000 again

Dingdell has 96,000

She has just made John Sadler fold 4-4 on a A-J-4 flop

raise Dingdell,re-raise Sadler, push Dingdell, fold

Dingdell can't tell me what she had, but had a grin the size of a very large Cheshire cat. I suspect she was losing, and picked her opponent the tightest player on the table very well!

update on James Mitchell? thx

here's his stack, guesstimate over 200,000

James is a formidable player. His stack has gone steadily upwards all day with hardly a blip. Quiet table presence, great image I expect..and probably at it like a good'un!!
