Why is he soo highly rated? He's done nothing in years. I guess at least the older players will be happy he's there now as they can expect to stay at the club until they're 40.

2 European cups..... 2 league titles, AC only lost out to The Special one this season. If we hold on to Anelka and Drogba gives a sh** then I am overally confident we'll take the league next season, although im still pretty sure i'll never see us lift the Champions league in my lifetime! Hold on to the glory of the cup winners cup!

With a team that was far from the best.

And they haven't done a thing in the league. It's very nice to want to win the CL with Chelsea but surely the national title is still the main aim of every club?
Ancelotti couldn't even come close to winning the title in the last few years and he has done nothing to improve the team.

I would be quite concerned about whom he brings to Chelsea, if anyone, and the sort of footie he will play. (Didn't Mourinho get the sack for playing boring footie?..Didn't Grant?)

Ancelotti won't last 2 seasons.

I can quite safely say that Chelsea's priority is CL's over PL

In 2007 Milan were awesome in Europe. I'd find it difficult to argue against them being the best side in it and they beat us in the final!

Yeah it is a bit of an odd signing. Tactically he's very good but his style is not going to make Abramovich happy. But who else is out there who they haven't pissed off already or isn't at a side where they're happy?

Unlike Utd, Real & Barca I dont believe Chelsea have the capacity to just "get" anyone they want. This appointment pretty much shows that. Butif it wins them the Champions League I'm sure they wont care.

It pains me to say it but Inter are the best Italian team atm, and its not close.

As a Chelsea fan I'm just not keen at all on an Italian manager at the bridge.
