all perfectly legal. 2 docs have to sign off on it and will do it without the parents knowledge if they think it's in the girl's interest

by 'drs' I presume you mean her own GP? In the case of underage girls the decision as to whether she is competent to decide for herself without parental involvement will be taken by the doctors that sign it off, based on their assessment of her maturity. How it should be imo.

no method of contraception offers 100% protection. perhaps if the girl thought her parents would give her a 'bloody good bollocking' rather than support, that was why she chose to go it alone? |
