atm tilt

I'm currently staying at the Orleans in Vegas. The other night, I tried to withdraw $200 from the ATM, but it got stuck at the bottom where the money is dispensed, because, I imagine, it was trying to give me the lot in $20 notes rather than $50s. I managed to claw out $140 individually, but before I had chance to get the other $60 unjammed, the machine whirred and sucked it back up.
I complained to security, and they told me to ring the number on the atm. I rang the atm people (GCA), and they told me I had to ring my bank immediately. So, I went up to my room (17th floor!) and rang Natwest. They kept me waiting for ages before telling me that there was nothing they could do, and that I'd have to get the casino to fill out a dispute form and send it to GCA.
I went back downstairs and spoke to security, who told me I'd have to wait 30 mins for the manageress to arrive. She did, but told me they didn't use "dispute forms" and that I had to ring GCA to report the problem. I rang GCA, but they told me that their policies didn't allow them to deal with disputes regarding maestro and that I'd have to contact my bank.
I called my bank again - they kept me waiting for ages again - and they told me this time that the figures might be adjusted within 24 hours and that I'd have to check my accounts in a day or two. I did that, but the full $200 has been taken out. I then checked my room bill at reception, to find that my calls to Natwest had cost me over $100.
I've been pulled from pillar to post, had $60 stolen from me, lost over $100 in phone calls, received no apology and no help from anyone. Can anyone offer any advice? I'm scared to ring my bank again now because I don't want to add to my phone bill.

In Vegas even the cashpoints only have a 70% payout ratio.
Stick to the slots Snoops - they're at least 90%.

a few years back i drew out £30 from the atm in work. the machine pushed out double,£ 60.a few days later a letter came from the bank telling me there was a fault with the machine telling me how much the machine gave me and how much i asked for and they are reclaiming overpayment,
in the UK they are able to work out how much a machine gave you.
