tx for all the good luck messages, am a combination of proud, gutted, satisfied, regretful and mainly hungover. so surreal sitting at a wsop final table, even more so when it gets heads up and you're staring down the table at some superstar with the bracelet in between u. all the support makes a real difference, on forums, fb, phones, emails etc, plus in person....i saw on poker news they were name checkin all JC's celebrity poker buddies, but i think i had more bracelet winners in my corner, with jp and praz, plus all the boys cheering me on.  havin people who have been there done it is so useful, even down to how to handle playing on th ebigger table with like 6 inch rail down to your cards etc.

went more card dead then i've ever been hu, i think i flopped better than one pair once, when i checked 9TJK and it came 9QK rainbow....managed to get a chop outa that one. having said that, JC was a class act and deserved to win, both as a person and the way he controlled the final. he caught lots of cards but was even gracious enough to say that afterwards, lots of so called stars would be far less humble i'm sure. i think it helps he remembers challening a table to a drinking contest two years back in a limit tourney and having to give up when i was still matching him beer for beer after like 5 in 20 minutes. top man and deserved champ.

seem to have slept through the 5k plo today, few days off then back to work. and tikay, i look forward to more lessons with u, i noticed that session when u and compo sat in the plo game in the vic with me and karl never made it to the diary, and reason for that?

Great Post Jeff, nothing less than expected from a top geezer.

That PLO game in The Vic? With you & Karl? Where you both got lucky on me? And I did well to only drop £2k? No recollection of it mate, sorry.
