I think it is worth holding offf your bets until the weather / draw is a bit clearer.

The weather can play a massive part in the outcome.

It could certainly pay not to have all of your selections in one half of the draw, unless it's the good half of course.

A number of fancies, Jacquelin, Westwood, Ross Fisher, Martin Laird, and if the weather looks grim, Paul Lawrie.

Ross Fisher's wife is about to drop their first sprog so he's a pretty doubtful runner.

Whos your fancys karabiner?

I'm not matched on all of them yet, so I'll put them up as soon as I am.

Trust me that everyone will think that I've gone stark staring bonkerser when my main fancy is posted.

Must be Poulter then Wink

Just a couple of silly outsiders for this tourney

Trahan
Andersson Hed

And for old times sake

Sir Nick Faldo

My bet this week comes in the US Bank Championship which runs alongside Open

I'm looking for a few to back Top 10/Top 5/Winner on betfair. Hopefully lay the Top 10 when they make the cut and be freerolling Top 5/Winner.

Henrik Stensen is a stand out at 33s imo and Sabbatini at 200s is ridic good value!

So those two with a Stricker saver is my slip for this week.

7 attempts and a best finish of 26th, with 3 missed cuts in last four years account for that price.

7/11 in top 25 finishes in 2009.
Avg 70.21 for 2009 - his best so far.
19 under for Byron Nelson 6 weeks ago.

= running into form imo.

Most are matched Andrew, but I'm still waiting on a few which are mainly in the place markets.

I'll stick my picks up tomorrow at the latest.

/= links golf.

Even in his massive year he missed the cut. I hope you get a run for your money, but there was a good reason for that price.
