It's not JUST calories in and calories out - I agree.  But that's a major part of it, obviously.

Poker:

Enjoyed DTD again this weekend!

I ran deep again but failed at the crucial stage AGAIN! I played 12 hours of solid poker and never got my chips in bad and won all my major flips until the last one Sad

Played at Gala Leeds last night and made the final table 2nd in chips but managed to bust 2nd hand for £55 GG!

Fitness:

Been to gym this morning and had a good work out! My day off tomorrow but im going to go swimming instead!

Looking forward to the blonde bash this weekend and gonna get a good session in this week to get ready for the football!

Just been weighed and im upto 22st 9lbs which is a gain of 3lbs.

Just had a chat with Cos and i have agreed to set an exercise schedule.

I have set a four day schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

I will post if i am going to swap a day but if i miss a day in the weekly schedule i have to make it up and do 2 days or i will have to give £10 to charity!

This will run for 2 months and will end on the 31st October.

My personal target weight for this challenge is going to be 21st

Thanks to Cos for this kick up the arse!

Just been weighed and i have lost 7llbs.

Current weight is 22st 2lbs.

So i went to the gym this morning for a swim but the pool was being used by some ladies doing aqua aerobics so i did a light weights session.

Decided to go back after work for a swim instead and ive just got back after a few lenghts and 10 minutes in the steam room!

Feeling fresh now!

Gym is very boring but if you can get into that habit and force yourself to out-calorie the previous week's total, then that's the way to go imo.
I've done the same thing as I do most summers, thanks to non-stop racing, put on about a stone and a half. Six or seven takeaways and a couple of beers each night will do that to you.
Time to get it off again now innit. If you can hit 2000 calories a week plus an hour of weights, it'll drop off.

just try putting more weight on the squat bar 3 times a week, soon gets too scary to be boring
