have had some pretty random and scary customers a couple of times.

stories pls

Ok so started out as a Taxi noob in August and since then i have been threatend twice.

First occasion i got sent to an address out of our area but as i was near and the office took the booking and was coming back into town so would of been a nice job.

I rocked up about 6.20pm 10 mins early for the booking so i beeped and out came the guy. He said not booked till half past he was getting some stuff together could i give him 10 minutes. I said yea ok. Got to about 6.35 so i beeped again. Got to 6.40 and im not very patient at the best of times so i went to knock on door.

His girlfriends dad answers and i ask if hes gonna be long. Said id been here 20 mins etc and was gonna start charging a waiting time. So i get on radio and they tell me hes pissed off and phoned up and cancelled so he comes bounding out of the house upto the car saying hes gonna smack me up if i dont piss off.

So i sling my hook and having wasted 40 mins of my time i was pretty pissed off as i could of been making monay back in town.

Another occasion i pulled upto a pub late on a Sat night and this kids wandering about stumbling all over and asks who im for. I say i dont think its u mate (cos i had a girls name booked) he starts chasing my car as im pulling upto the pub. Anyway his mum comes out whos taxi it was for and apologies for him being drunk. He then says summet to his Dad who comes bounding over to my window who who tells me to sling my hook before he paggers my face in.

Last week had 2 guys get in and instantly had a bad feeling. Cos when ur out of town and its two on one you never know if there gonna jump you or not. Anyway nothing happened and i got paid so all was well.

Upto press i havnt had any runners.

Do taxi drivers get offered sexual favours i hear you say?

get a personal trainer. £25 once every 2 weeks or so, not too expensive and should keep you on track

ah cool i do mainly cardio cos of my kneee.
My gym doesnt have a pool cos its shit

Do you have a schedule or a target to achieve every sesssion?

For example
My friend told me that I should

bike, run then x train
and try to get 600 calories burned

i found this hard

Well i let my gym membership lapse but im going to sign upto Aspire which is a council scheme i think. Allows you to swim and use gym at local sports centres.

Also my mate who plays professional Rugby League has said hes going to help me so that will be kinda like my personal trainer for one session a week.

Cool, that's what you need to keep you going mate if motivation and technique is putting you off stuff. Getting a nice and varied training program with someone there to keep you motivated and push you once a week definitely works.

I used to just jump on the tredmill and do speed interval training. Id do 30 minutes of walking and jogging and would do around 2 miles. At my peak in Australia in 2008 i had built upto 1 hour of speed interval covering 5-6km burning around 800cals.

Ok so last time i did this i didn't post about my meals but I'm gonna post my meals up.

This morning i had a bowl of Special k.

For my tea i have had a chicken breast, jacket potato with cottage cheese, sprouts, broccoli and cabage.

Im working at 6pm so im going to take a tuna sandwich on brown weight watchers bread, 2 bananas and a portion of grapes for later.

Will take a bottle of water too.
