Been looking on ebookers today and found a week in Venetian plus flights for £1,531.17 which includes travel insurance.

Also a $119 charge at the hotel im guessing for internet access etc

Dates are Sunday 19th to Sunday 26th June.

Does this seem a decent offer?

Seems quite expensive to me, I am sure you could find better. Lets say flights are £700, you are paying over 100 a night for the hotel.

The 119 is the resort fee, which just about all strip hotels charge.

Flights to Vegas have never come down in the 4 years I've been going, I always book as early as possible. Last year I booked in Feb and this year I booked up last month.

Hotels are easy you can just book as and when, they never really go up or get booked out. I haven't booked my hotel yet, hopefully Paradise will overbook the Palazzo again and I can nip a room off them for £600 again for a week Smiley

I'm there 24th June - 7th July and yeah any room is alright really. I stayed at Harrahs the first night last year before I moved into the Venetian and it's fine.

It does seem expensive, and your just burning money buying insurance from the travel agent. Can get insurance online for about a tenner.
Play around with the dates Girgy, one or two days either way can make a big difference to the price.
Although flights generally go up the closer you get, Virgin often have sales for flights a couple of months in advance of travel dates.

Virgin only fly Thurs/Sunday from Manchester though m8 that's the only problem there. With regard to sales, last year I booked with Virgin in Feb and got my flight for £535 and it just went up and up. I know a couple lads who left it until last minute and paid well over 1k iirc
