out the casino front door, turn right down the slight hill, left at the bottom and the culinary delights of Luton await you

OK but which lovely estabishments will accept the buffet vouchers and are within the 1 hr break limit - so you can eat and return - without having to repark?

its walking distance

the buffet vouchers are not legal tender, even in Luton, you could frame them

Anyone know of any other places that take the Buffet vouchers? I don't want to risk the dodgy fish syndrone of last year's buffet...
I know the local Chinese takeaway would normally swap - any chicken places or kebab places nearby?

I swerved the buffet last year - I ate out - it was a good decision.

Swerving Luton buffets is always a good idea imo. Iron constitution required for those buggers. Nando's ftw.

To be fair Chomps, the Buffet on Saturday was excellent.

Not a patch on last year's Main Event Buffet, mind.

Ate there yesterday before comp. Strongly recommended. The buffet last night was a highlight of culinary genius. Chilli. Brilliant. Four chilli beans in my portion. Alternative meal was vegetables in some sort of sauce. I ask what the sauce is. Chilli. Marvellous. Cheesecake red. Alternative to cheesecake red was cheesecake orange. Both cheesecakes come with an optional topping that slides off the base and ends up as a seperate sauce in the bottom of the bowl if you put the slice sideways on in the bowl. Midnight and having seen the buffet I was craving a diet bar.

Four chilli beans! You run so good Snat. MDD texted me to say he'd only found three scattered among the rice. MBSFN.

Maybe the chef comes form somewhere near Texas, as Texans believe that there should be no beans in a chili.

Texas, Lithuania?

Is there any value to be had here in anyone's opinion?

I was ill for the last two days of the GUKPT in Luton last year, but it was not due to eating the buffet, as I didn't have it. I did however have a dodgy curry on Wednesday evening in a curry house not far from the casino and that is more liley to have been the culprit.
