I clearly didnt get wtf was going on in the wire, ive never watched an episode of Dexter or Entourage(although heroes was o.k) so i think i'm kinda out of touch with contemporary American t.v drama's, 3 votes each, let me know your thoughts.

(also if ive missed any from the list)

Im a die hard Lost fan and normally would have said Lost, but I bit the bullet and started watching 24 and can already say, even though I am only on the 3rd series, 24 is already the greatest for me.

UMM Sopranos dude?

West Wing was awesome - the writing was just great. Heros was a cool first series. I will be watching the wire soon.

Excellent.

Submitted my vote then read the thread. My 3 picks, Dexter, The Wire and Entourage.

You need to watch Entourage. Not gritty drama or anything just very easy viewing and very funny.

Dexter is also very good but like the wire you need to start at the beginning.

If your looking for something new to watch try Breaking Bad.It stars the dad from Malcom in the mddle and its about a chemistry teacher who finds out he has terminal lung cancer so he decides to go into crystal meth production so he can leave some finacial security for his family.Doesn't sound like a barrel of laughs but it is really well done.

No House?

I watched a few episodes of Lie To Me but just couldn't get into it. Those flashes of famous people always seemed to annoy me.

I like alot of these Dramas but none comes even close to 24 imo. One of my favorite programmes of all time, and everyone who ive bullied into watching it all are completely addicted.
