Before we get there though, here's the story. It's a nice one.

Right now, I'm broke. I'm also frustrated, because I've been playing good poker for the last few months, but missing that vital bit of luck when it counts. It's been frustrating that I haven't been able to play as much as I'd like when I've been feeling like a result was due.

Anyhow, I stuck a message in my facebook status last week asking if anyone wanted a horse for the £100 side event at Luton last Thursday to give me a shout. Having pretty much given up, a backer came through at the 11th hour in the form of George2loose.  I didn't cash, but decided to stick a few quid in the slots on the way out, and cashed out for £100. Rather than feed it back to the evil Cleopatra machine, I bought in for the £100 comp the following night, and gave George a 20% interest.  I managed a small cash, £510, so George's share was just shy of his initial outlay.

Rather than take the dosh back, George invited me to play with it, anything I liked, and we'd go 50/50.  I decided to deposit the money on to pokerstars, and registered for three tournaments that started at 9pm tonight.

I busted two of them before the dosh.  The third was an $11 freezout attracting 3117 runners.  As I type, 3000 of the field have departed, and I'm sitting 2/17.  I'd so love to win this and have the fairytale ending, and to give George a good return for his initial outlay.  Here's where the help comes in. I'm getting tired, and could do with a bit of banter.  Come help me get this won!
