This.
I'm always a little bit surprised when I see people I respect as poker players, and who obviously understand odds, percentages and EV etc , feeding these things.
Since taking up poker, I've lost interest in all other forms of gambling!

Hardly "advertising" them Ralph! That Post of mine was just my sheer agog-ness that someone could play Slots at £180 a spin, or win £1,5 million on the dreadful things.
Slots are the devil as far as I'm concerned - every bit as evil as Roulette. (Which I used to be addicted to, by the bye).
blonde even has an online Casino upon which Slots are available, & the income has helped to keep blonde afloat. Moral dilemmas ftw......

That exactly represents my position. I gambled on everything & anything - "traditional" horse & dog betting, then Football, Fixed Odds, Spreads, Roulette, the lot. Like many of us, I'm addicted to gambling. Poker "solved" my problem, or more correctly, channelled all my gambling instincts down one channel. It completely cured my addiction to other forms of gambling though, & it 100% satisfies my need for a gambling "fix". And now, at last, I can happily play a Tenner Tourney & thoroughly enjoy it for the sheer pleasure of playing, with the added & immeasurable bonus of it not hurting one iota when I take a beat, because I'm playing well inside my financial comfort zone. In 90% of cases, when you see folks struggling to handle defeat in poker, & sounding off at innocent others, it's because they are playing way above their roll.

Why not try your hand at Low stakes Roulette? Login and use your poker account and play from as little as 1p a spin!
A good blackjack player can really give the house a run for it's money as skill plays a big part of the game; much like Poker. (LOL BTW)
The Famous Rainbow Riches slot is now exclusively online at Sky Vegas. This 20 line, 5 reel game features 3 exciting bonus rounds where you could win a X500 multiplier.
