DTD 300 - Just for Mantis

Second level of DTD 300 so it's 50/100. I've got 9k having had a small accident.

BB is unbelievably aggro and also stupid. He's over betting a lot and squeezing everything. He recently bet 4k to win about 1200 and showed his bluff.

I've got  utg+1 so raise to 275. Next to act re raises to 575. Button makes it 1600, Stupid BB calls.

I decide that I'm now pretty much set mining so flat as does 3 bettor.

So there's 6400 in the pot to a flop of 

BB does his usual big bet open for 4k.

I shove for 7.5k

How lucky do I need to be to get stuck in a 3 way all in here?

I agree fold pre. To set mine you want to be getting 20:1. Worst case 10:1 if late in a tourney. You are committing way too much to set mine here. Given that the 4 bettor is mr aggro you could argue to 5 bet commit (or just jam). Nothing wrong with folding pre for me.

I presume tb is getting at the point we need bigger implied odds , as we don't get villians stack every time, sometimes we get coolered etc. I normally go with 15 to 1 personally, all depends on villian's range and his post flop tendancies.

I was only trying to even up the DTD 300 for Mantis cus everyone got it in bad.

Post on PHA as often as possible but expect to get ribbed a lot by the better players. Believe me when people take the piss because you've done something it's because you really shouldn't have done it. If they are brutal then it's because it's a move you should never do again. Just learn and have a thick skin.

Ok so I made it 300.

Next to act made it 1200. Called in 3 spots so I call.

Better? 900 in to 5k ish + whatever I get after.

I still call if the action was as I originally said though. Especially as the Q was coming on the flop.
