Starts on Thursday night/ Friday morning with Tennesee @ Pittsburgh which should be a really good game, on sky sports as per usual.

If the Dolphins get into the playoffs I will be more than happy, our schedule is the hardest of any team coming off the back of the softest last season.

I have had a bet on the Bears at 30's on Betfair.

Should be another cracking season - looking forward to it.

I have had a substantial bet on Atlanta at just over 30-1 and a smallller punt on the Jets in the other conference at 50-1

like the look of Matt Ryan at QB, plenty of young talent

Lay the backside off NE Patriots sub 10-1. A lot of talent has left that team in the last 18 months

Beware any team in the top ten of the ebtting, the elague is always topsy turvy one year to the next, which is the beauty of it

Just rewatched last year's Superbowl yesterday to whet my appetite. What a game that was.

The biggest play in superbowl history with James Harrison's 100 yard interception for a touchdown just before halftime, then Bruce Springsteen told us to put the chicken fingers down.

In the second half Arizona were 10 points down and Pittsburgh had a 1st and goal, if they scored a touchdown it would be a 3 possesion game and pretty much all over. Arizona came up with a huge goalline stand only to give away a stupid penalty on the field goal attempt and giving Pittsburgh another shot. The Arizona defence came up with the goods again though, and Pittsburgh were limited to a field goal and a 13 point lead.

Then Kurt Warner became abs incredible and went on a dream run. A safety and two touchdowns meant that Arizona went up 23-20, ahead for the first time in the game and possibly pulling off the greatest comeback in Superbowl history (overcoming a 13 point defecit).

Wasn't to be, Roethlisberger with two and a half minutes to go came up with a touchdown drive and binked the trophy. Sad

Incredible season too. Can't wait for tomorrow night and it all starting again.

Decent bet, Jay Cutler will be huge for the Bears I reckon. They're in with a shout to scoop the loot.

Agreed on Matt Ryan, Tighty. Looked a really special talent last year as a rookie, a superstar for years to come imo.

Go EAGLES.

Intrigued by the whole Michael Vick thing though, although McNabb usually gets injured somewhere along the line so perhaps it's shrewd business.  Not exactly a ringing endorsement for Kevin Kolb's prospects though.

Shame you're not playing the Browns this year.
Would be interesting to see how Vick would be recieved in the dog pound.

No chance, not enough offensive talent and defense isn't near a top 5 unit.

Cutler overrated too imo. Won't be nearly as effective without an offensive genius like Shanhan designing and calling plays.

Can't have Atlanta either, wide receievers drop too many passes, defensive line suspect too.

All wrong imo the Bears biggest problems on offense will be the cold and wind. The off line has been improved including LT Pace fromt the RamsCutler can throw like a bullet but he isnt the tallest so may have problems when winter kicks in.

Cutler does have some good weapons, ok he isnt strong at WR, but he does he 2 good TEs and a great recieving RB

The defense didnt put up great numbers last year but id say this is due to the number of minutes that the defense spent on the field last year due to such a bad offense
