no real interest in NFL, but a huge victory for University of Alabama  against LSU to win the SEC Western Division . Will now play Florida for the SEC championship and then hopefully onto the national championship. No matter what, you will definitely see some of these boys in the NFL next year.

86,000 at Bryant Denny Stadium last night, and they are already talking of increasing the capacity. If Nick Saban keeps things going, they might just need to double it.

amazing that i can now watch these games on ESPN American

The addition of ESPN America has been awesome, all the baseball as well. I follow the CFB too but just out of interest why do you not have an interest in the NFL?

i guess because i dont really have a team which i follow, which can make the games a bit dull. Whereas i spent a lot of time in alabama, and it really is amazing how huge the team is there. Similarly in virginia, with virginia tech. The size of the crowds and the passion is really incredible for what is essentially an amatuer sport.

It's hard to believe the support for College Football, I have never seen anything like it. As far as not having a team in the NFL goes, just have a bet each week, it's amazing how teams I have "supported" fervantly after backing them...
Alternatively follow players drafted from Alabama?

2 bets on the early games both @ about 2.2

jags to win by between 1 and 12

pats to win by between 7 and 18

simples innit. shippity ship

leaving the late games alone, don't like any of them

Sigh won bet but pretty tilted by the fins, still again we got beaten by a bigger margin than we should have so good punting chances next week.
