That year the Chargers had the first pick, being the worst team the eyar before and Eli Manning was the consensus top pick. Unfortunately he made it perfectly clear he didn't want to go to San Diego. So behind the scenes the NYG contacted SD and did the deal. You pick Manning, we'll pick Rivers at 4, we'll trade them straight after the draft

Since then of course Manning has won a superbowl. So its a bit of a stretch to say that the Chargers got way the better of it even though most would want Rivers over Manning this season, and from here on.

Both are franchise quarterback, personally I like Rivers more. A great leader as well as a great player, but he needs to match Manning's achievements. Could well do this year

I can't have the Chargers at the current price.

They have a great offense for sure but they cannot stop the run for love nor money. Any team with a decent running game could hold the ball for 40 minutes against them.

If you were gonna bet the Jets Rich, the line is falling fast, i reckon it might go off about Jets + 3 1/2 so there is still a little + 5 1/2 worth taking.

Colts not playing their starters, hence the price started at +5.5 and coming in. Wanted a crack at Jets +11 against the full colts team

Yes, Sanchez looks like he is going to start for the Jets too.
