Dolphins schedule next year:
Miami Dolphins
Home: Buffalo, New England, N.Y. Jets, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Detroit, Tennessee
Away: Buffalo, New England, N.Y. Jets, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Minnesota, Oakland
Think its pretty good, obv much better than last year.
The away games are pretty brutal, only Oakland out of our division is a game where we will be faves.

You would just get loads of injuries to all the sports star players that would ruin the sport, if they played more than 20 games (the max for any team). If you look at the other 3 major north american sports, they play loads of games.
Think it is 80 odd in Ice Hockey/Basketball and 162 in baseball, that is just the regular season.

I prefer it like that. Season feels like an event.

+1 It's pretty mev
As longy said everyone would just be dead if it went on any longer.
The whole draft and combine is huge though so its not like you miss out.

Plus all the other sports only run for a few months also, i think Baseball is the longest from April till end of October.
I think its also to do with away fixtures, as america is so big, New York to California is a little more difficult than Liverpool to Chelsea. hence why they have away fixtures bunched together in BB

the nfl has teased us withextending the season to 18 weeks but I think if they did that youd have to have a secheduled bye week for all teams at week 9 or 10 in order to give teams a break
