49ers have a lot of young talent notably Vernon Davis and Patrick Willis, and a perennially weak division to go at
Short of the Rams and maybe the Lions and the Browns, all teams have a chance of making the play offs next year due to the way the draft works. Its an uncapped year too where the final eight teams in the play offs are not allowed to add free agents. This will level the playing field too
It, the London game, should be a good one and the 49ers will always be a good choice due to huge international support dating back to the Montana/Rice era when many UK fans first got into the NFL (same for the Bears 85-86 and Cowboys 91-95)

Yeah obv they chose the game because of the 49ers support but i still disagree about the playoff chances and lolz tank just pulling out the .500 stat.
OK both teams finished with .500 stats but they have the biggest joke divisions, NFC West is just pointless the Cardinals are far and away the best team in that division and they are still hopeless. They get 2 games against the rams and 2 against the seahawks and could still only eek a 500 record! How on earth are they going to win 11 games next season, they simply won't sorry tighty but they have to win that Division to get into the playoffs and that ain't going to happen.
The broncos are a joke finished 2-8 if i remember correctly and get 2 games against Oakland and Kansas lol how can you get gifted 4 games a year and only win 8! Again they are not going to top the Chargers so would have to make the wildcard, not going to happen one of those will be the North one the East.
On top of all that neither team really has "star power" if you mentioned all the good NFL teams to even the most casual of observers they will be able to to tell you a name from that team, someone who is exciting to watch and can turn games around, i am struggling for that name from either team.
In short, i stand by what i said its a joke of a game, i can only guess there is going to be a 2nd game and its going to be a pearler, or the NFL have realised they can just throw any old shitty game over here and it will sell out.
