Lucky - here's an extract from a Blog I wrote elsewhere today - so don't be turning up at lunchtime today!
".....An oddity, by the bye, which I've never come across before in a Poker Tourney. Play at the WSOP-E starts at Noon on all Day Ones, & 2pm on all other days, but today, the Start-Time will be 5.30pm. Why? Because it's the Jewish religious Festival, Yom Kippur.
Yom Kippur is observed from "sundown" yesterday (Sunday), but they never altered yesterday's schedule, so I'm a little curious why they have altered today's schedule. I expect there's a rartional explanation. If you know it, tell me, please, as I'm curious. Orford says I'm very curious, but you know what I mean......"

Unfortunately not - it's one of my first cousins' wedding, on the same day as DTD £300 and Chelsea vs Liverpool. You'd think she didn't know me at all!?
Sick Fades from Blonde's top dogs atm. Tighty faded me in Luton this weekend and you fade me everywhere atm!

Not acceptable. You are Greek - thus you must have about 900 cousins, and that excuse "cousins wedding" must come up every day.
Try harder please. I could arrange for you to be English if that would help, but you'd have to respect The Queen. Our Queen.

Yes - very odd, but there must be a good reason that they feel they need to defer the start of play today for Yom Kippur, but allowed play to continue beyond sundown last night.

Not far wrong with your guess, that's a good over/under line to set.
I'll stay Greek as I kinda like all the body hair and shedloads of food it comes with but still respect the Queen anyway - she married a Greek, init.

Surely those who who wanted to observe it played day 1a?
So day 1b can go ahead as they like, observant Jew less mind.

Good point, & fair point, accepted.
But its a new one on me to delay the start-time of a PokerTourney for Yom Kippur, as they have today.
