I didn't manage to make it to the blonde bash but if I did and was unhappy with something that I knew was about to happen at the table I would have said 'Sorry guys you can't really do that' and I'm sure no-one would have taken offence. This is not remaining quiet instead of waiting until after the event and posting about it. Pretty bad form really especially as this tournament isn't something that should be taken seriously and it doesn't really matter if theres a few little bendings of rules.

If anyone has attacked Bainn in an unappropriate manner then I could understand it but I've not yet seen any personal attacks.

What Bainn seems to have done is a bit wrong imo. Therefore are you not confusing mob mentality with the fact a lot of people share the same opinion about this?

It's his problem and he has to live with it - could be best to let him get on with it, without picking on how deluded he can be at times.

The OP highlighted the community spirit of blonde and that's a positive thing worth highlighting - that's a much better direction for the thread to take.

I don't know the guy, never met him but I pretty much said in my post that personal attacks are unnecessary. Did I work it badly and it didn't come across that way?

I don't want to make comments about someone I don't know, just my view on the issue in question.
