OK playing a live MTT at gala. Structure is fairly standard but with no antes. 8k starting stack ,30 min clock. 24ish left from a field of 30. Nowhere near the money.

My image- fairly looshish. I've had to show down a button open with 53 off after short shoved in the big blind. I have also been 4 bet shoved on a Q677 flop.

I have 7k at the start of the hand. Blinds are 200/400 going to 300/600 in just under 10 mins. I have just lost 7k of my stack as mentioned against said villian blind on blind two hands previous.

I look down at 55 in the cut off. Should I open?

Anyway I make it 1100. Villian 3 bets to 3300. He is quite an aggro player too but likes to peel a lot. Due to history, I believe his re raising range is quite wide: KJ+. A10+ 88+

It folds back round to me. I have 5900 more.

Should I:

a) fold
b) shove
c) Peel with the intention of shoving any flop with an Ace or a king???

Should I fold pre?

I prefer to resteal with small pp's rather than open with your stack size... so I would open fold here, especially if this guy is loose and appears to be playing back at you, not many flops that are easy to play

I don't think I would open a hand with this stack and a loose image without already committing to it. With the range you have assigned villain I would shove pre as that decision is easier than any flop one imo. Although this flop decision is pretty easy actually cos we have a lot of chips in there and we get the chance to do that Winston Churchill celebration thing with 5-5.

i think open pushing is superior to open folding, sans reads.. on first glance it seems to be unexploitable so if my choice is between non-allin opening/folding/pushing, i'd do the latter. It stops them pushin it in with QJ/10Q etcetc if you make a standard raise.
