anyone remember Paint Along With Nancy? I seem to recall she used a knife rather than a brush  idiot

when I first started half-days at infant school, it was Nancy, The Sullivans, and Crown Court on the box when I got home.

yeah but your old

I didn't go to school, but if I had, telly wouldn't have started until about 6pm. then it would have been something like Stingray, The 6 O'clock News, The Littlest Hobo, Coronation st, Hancock's Half Hour, Steptoe & Son, Armchair Theatre, the test card, and then that little white spot. Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..............

Mind you, the battery had usually conked by that stage.

Remember it used to fade into the middle of the screen and then take an age to dissapear even though you had switched the tele off.

Why was that?

Well not quite. I did go for a few months when I was about 7.

If you're interested, I wrote about it here.

Brilliant find. I used to love The Young Ones, and I'm a big fan of Bottom too. (No making your own jokes up)
